Underground Cabling
Centaur has more than 28 years of experience in underground cabling. In 1994 we were awarded our first project as an EPC contractor for design, supply and installation of MV and LV electric power network in the city of Ras Al Khaimah – 153kms.
Our HV cable competencies range from route planning, surveying and engineering to interface handling. We work in desert as well as city areas for underground cabling up to 400kV, keeping in mind local regulations and installation requirements.

Full-fledged in-house facility with competent project managers of 25 plus years of experience, site managers with 10 to 20 years of experience, certified and approved project engineer, site engineer, supervisor, foreman, charge hand and labors.
Our engineers have proven their skills and capabilities successfully by executing underground cabling projects all over the UAE. Each site have approved safety officers to ensure safety on site as per UAE safety protocols.

We provide complete design, engineering, procurement, supply, civil works, cable laying, jointing, and termination works, including testing and commissioning of cabling work from 11kV upto 400kV. The main steps in underground cabling design and engineering are as follows:

Contracting Services
General contracting, often referred to as a traditional delivery system, allows the owner to engage with the architect/engineer to prepare the design of the entire project. Upon design completion, the project scope is competitively bid to a construction firm for a fixed lump sum.
Our responsibilities when serving as the general contractor include:
- Providing all materials, labor, equipment and services.
- Subcontracting with various trade and specialty contractors
- Applying or assisting in the application process for permits
- Monitoring schedule and cash flow
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring a safe and secure project site
